This album is a collection of shelved tracks and demos recorded by Willis Albright (aka Patient Zero) in late 1961, and serves as a great introduction to a fascinating albeit mysterious artist who was clearly passionate about free jazz as well as African instrumentation. Legend has it most of these songs were to be re-recorded with the house band at Bed Sheet Records but Albright's persistent drug problems caused the album to be shelved for almost 35 years before seeing a limited release on cassette by a small Colorado Springs based label.
